We welcome visitors who wish to communicate directly
with a staff person. Please phone the lab (or just stop in) to request
a meeting. Every effort will be made to accommodate you.
The lab uses advanced technology and information systems to aide
in communication. Telephone and voice mail systems we hope are easy
to use. Our receptionists are glad to assist you. FAX and e-mail are
sometimes the best way to make sure your communication arrives in a
timely way. Please check the Locations page
for all our addresses and numbers.
We strive to communicate with you in a number of ways. These web pages
are but one example. On occasion, we may wish to send a mailing through
the U.S. Postal system. Please contact the Madison lab to get yourself
on the mailing list. Examples of mailed items are the User
Guide and newsletters.
Additionally, we continue to implement refinements in the manner we
communicate test results. More customers are now using our e-mail and
FAX options for sample receipt notification, preliminary, and final
results. E-mail has many advantages over FAX, so we encourage our customers
to investigate this option.
Effective November 1st, 2004 we will no longer mail paper copies of
result reports automatically. Each customer can choose only one method
of communication; e-mail, fax or USPS mail (no fee).
Effective on January 1, 2005 there will be a $2.50 handling fee per
accession to have test results mailed to you via USPS.
